Sign PDF Online: Add Your Signature to Any Page
Draw your signature with a finger or mouse, type your name in a handwriting style, or use a photo of your signature on paper. Place it on any page, resize it, and download the signed PDF. Everything happens in your browser, so the document is never uploaded.
How to sign a PDF
- 1Add the PDF. Drop the PDF you need to sign onto the box, or tap to choose it. It opens on its last page, where signatures usually go.
- 2Make your signature. Draw it on the pad, type your name and pick a style, or upload a photo of your signature. Choose black or blue ink for drawn and typed signatures.
- 3Place it. Select Add to this page, then drag the signature into position and drag its corner to resize it. Use Add to every page for initials on each page.
- 4Download. Select Sign PDF and download the signed copy. Your original file is not changed.
Three ways to make your signature
- Draw: sign on the pad with a finger on a phone, a stylus on a tablet, or a mouse or trackpad on a computer
- Type: enter your name and choose a flowing or handwritten style
- Upload: sign on plain white paper, take a photo, and add it; the paper is removed so only the ink appears on the PDF
Placing and adjusting
Drag a signature to move it and drag the round corner handle to make it bigger or smaller. On a keyboard, select the signature and use the arrow keys to move it, plus and minus to resize, and Delete to remove it.
Add the signature to as many pages as you need. Add to every page places a copy on each page in the same spot, which suits initials at the foot of every page of an agreement.
Is this a legal signature?
This adds a picture of your signature to the PDF, which is what most people mean by signing a PDF. It is widely used for forms, letters, offer letters, approvals and similar everyday documents.
It is not a certificate-based digital signature. Filings that ask for a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC), such as some income tax, GST and company filings, or for Aadhaar eSign, need those services. If you are unsure, ask the person or office receiving the document what they accept.
Your document stays private
Agreements, bank forms and offer letters often contain personal details. Here the PDF and your signature are processed in your browser and never sent anywhere, and nothing is saved after you close the page.
To stop others changing the signed file, add a password with Protect PDF. To combine it with other documents first, use Merge PDF.
Frequently asked questions
Is signing a PDF here free?

Can I sign a PDF on my phone?
Yes. Draw your signature with your finger, place it with a drag, and download the signed PDF, all in your phone's browser.
Can I add my signature to more than one page?
Yes. Add it page by page, or use Add to every page to place it in the same spot on every page.
