The toolbox
How it works
- 1Pick the task. Choose a tool from the list above. Each one does a single job, so there are no menus to dig through or settings you have to understand before you start.
- 2Add your file. Drag a file onto the page or tap to choose one from your phone or computer. Files up to 20 MB are supported, which covers most scans, reports, and photos.
- 3Download the result. Your browser does the processing, usually in a few seconds. Check the preview, then save the new file. Your original is never changed.
Your files never leave your device
Most online PDF sites upload your document to their servers, process it there, and ask you to trust that it gets deleted afterwards. Docsdom works differently: the code that merges, splits, compresses, or converts your file runs inside your browser tab.
That matters when the file is a bank statement, a medical report, a signed contract, or an ID card. Nothing is stored, nothing is shared, and there is no account that links your documents to you. When you close the tab, the work is gone.
You can read exactly what we do and do not collect in our privacy policy.
What people use Docsdom for
A few everyday jobs that come up again and again, and the tool that handles each one.
Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Every tool on Docsdom runs inside your web browser. Your files are read and processed on your own device and are never sent to us.
Is Docsdom free to use?
Yes. All tools are free, with no account, no daily limits, and no watermark added to your output. The site is supported by advertising.
What is the maximum file size?
Each file can be up to 20 MB. Because processing happens on your device, very large files can be slow on older phones. If that happens, try splitting or compressing the file first.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. The tools work in current versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox on Android, iPhone, Windows, and Mac. Nothing needs to be installed.
Can I unlock a PDF if I forgot its password?
No. The unlock tool removes protection from a PDF when you already know the password. It does not guess or break passwords.
